Set out on a relaxing yet inspiring journey through the southern side of Crete, where coastal beauty, village life, and local flavours come together. Your day begins at a family-run winery hidden among the green hills of central Crete. Here you’ll learn the basics of Cretan winemaking, taste local varieties, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the vineyards.

We then make our way to Matala, one of the island’s most iconic seaside villages. Known for its 1960s hippie past, colourful streets and crystal-clear water, Matala offers the perfect blend of culture and coast. Spend your free time exploring its lively alleys, swimming at the famous beach, or visiting the carved seaside caves, once used as ancient dwellings and later as a haven for artists and travellers.

After your time by the sea, we continue to a traditional local restaurant where a rich Cretan lunch awaits. Enjoy freshly prepared dishes, homemade flavours, and local wine — a warm taste of the hospitality Crete is known for.

Before returning, we make a relaxed stop for an optional coffee, giving you a moment to unwind and take in the scenery after a full day of experiences.

From wine and history to beach life and Cretan gastronomy, this route brings together everything that makes the south of Crete unforgettable — a day filled with beautiful landscapes, authentic encounters, and memories that linger long after the journey ends.

2. Please provide fullname, telephone number (country code included), e-mail and accommodation details (hotel name & address) upon booking.
3. Please arrive on time to the given pick-up point. Unfortunately, there is no option to wait for latecomers. In case of delay, missed pick-up, missed departure time, no refunds.
4. Not allowed drinking/eating/smoking inside the vehicles
5. The use of the seat belt is mandatory
6. The travel agency reserves the right to alter or cancel any tour due to adverse weather conditions or insufficient passengers number or force majeure 12 hours prior to departure time with a notification to the traveler.
