Glass Bottom Coastal Boat Tour! From Chania Old Port

Enjoy your time at sea on this fantastic 3.5-hour swimming and sightseeing tour aboard our Glass Bottom Boat Alexandros. Cruise along the beautiful coastline of Chania while admiring stunning mountain views and surrounding beaches.

During the journey, our friendly tour guide will share interesting information about the history of the area while guests relax and enjoy the scenery. Keep a look out for sea turtles swimming in the crystal-clear waters as you sail.

As the boat approaches Theodorou Island, guests can take fantastic photos of the historic Venetian fortress and the impressive open sea cave carved into the cliffs. With a little luck, you may also spot the island’s famous protected Kri-Kri wild goats.

Swimming stops:

First Swimming Stop – Protected Bay
The first stop takes place in a small, sheltered bay with crystal-clear waters and a sandy seabed. Guests can enjoy swimming and snorkeling using our complimentary snorkeling masks.
Approximate duration: 30 minutes.

Second Swimming Stop – WWII Aircraft Wreck
The second stop is at the wreck of a German aircraft shot down during World War II. The wreck lies just five metres below the surface, making it clearly visible for snorkelers. Guests who prefer to remain onboard can also view the wreck through the glass bottom of the boat.
Approximate duration: 30 minutes.

Third Swimming Stop – Lazaretta Island
The final stop is at Lazaretta Island, where guests can relax on the sandy beach, swim in the calm waters, or explore the small volcanic island before returning to Chania.
Approximate duration: 30 minutes.

MARINE LIFE EXPERIENCE
During the tour, our diver may bring onboard fascinating sea creatures such as octopus, starfish, and unique shells so guests can safely observe, touch, and photograph them before they are returned to the sea.

CAPTAIN EXPERIENCE
Children (and adults!) can sit with the captain, take the wheel, and have their photo taken while “driving” the boat – a fun and memorable experience for families.

For cancellation up to 2 days prior to arrival no cancellation fees.

For cancellations 1 day prior to arrival 100% cancellation fees.
