South Crete Kournas’ Lake, Argyroupolis & Plakias! From Rethymno

Enjoy some of the natural beauties of this island on our magnificent tour from north to south Crete.

Early pick-up and we will start traveling through changing landscapes towards the Libyan Sea. We will make a short stop for 15 minutes at Kourtaliotiko gorge.

Just after the breathtaking Kourtaliotiko Gorge we make a 45 minutes stop in the well-known Monastery of Preveli. From there to the charming fishing village of Plakias, where you can have a swim or enjoy a lunch in one of the local taverns. Free time for 1 ½ hour.

We leave Plakias passing the beautiful coastline of South Crete. Before we return to the north coast we make stops by the waterfalls in Argiroupoli (1 ½ hour) and by the lake of Kournas (1 hour)

Arrival time back to Rethymno approximately 18:30.
