Experience the true spirit of Crete with our Authentic Crete Summer Tour, a half-day journey that brings you closer to the island’s local life, traditions, and flavors.

Your adventure begins at a traditional Minoan farm, where you’ll step into the world of the Cretan countryside. Stroll through the farm, learn about time-honored agricultural practices, and discover the art of Cretan beekeeping. Along the way, enjoy tastings of pure local honey and other authentic products straight from the source.

Next, we visit a family-owned winery nestled near the Asterousia Mountains. Explore the historic FABRIKA wine cellar and gain insight into Crete’s rich winemaking heritage. Walk among the vineyards, see indigenous grape varieties, and indulge in a guided tasting of four carefully selected Cretan wines.

Our journey continues to the Monastery of Saint George Epanosifis, one of the island’s most significant and serene monasteries. Surrounded by natural beauty, this peaceful setting offers time to explore, reflect, and learn about its deep cultural and religious importance.

The tour concludes in a charming traditional mountain village. Enjoy free time to wander through its narrow streets, capture beautiful photos, browse local shops, or unwind at a cozy café. For those who wish, an optional lunch offers the chance to savor homemade Cretan dishes prepared with fresh, local ingredients.

This tour is a relaxed and enriching way to experience the essence of Crete, its culture, flavors, and village life all in just a few hours.

The timing of the program will be approximate, depending on traffic and weather conditions as well as the unexpected overcrowding.

Pick-up & Drop-off service (mainly from hotels at Ammoudara, Analipsi, Anissaras, Chersonissos, Gouves, Gournes, Heraklion city center, Karteros, Kokkini Hani, Malia, Stalis is provided. If pick up from your hotel is not possible you will be picked up from the closest pick-up point)

For cancellation up to 2 days prior to arrival no cancellation fees.

For cancellations 1 day prior to arrival 100% cancellation fees.

2. Please arrive on time to the given pick-up point. Unfortunately, there is no option to wait for latecomers. In case of delay, missed pick-up, missed departure time, no refunds.

4. The travel agency reserves the right to alter or cancel any tour due to adverse weather conditions or insufficient passengers number or force majeure 12 hours prior to departure time with a notification to the traveler.
