Ithaca Cruise! From Kefalonia

A day of myth and magic as we gently cruise around Kefalonia’s sister island of Ithaka, home of the mythological hero Odysseus. Relax on board as we follow the rugged coastline and explore enchanting villages that time has forgotten. Shop in the capital of Vathi, savour the local specialities for lunch in the stunning harbor of Kioni and enjoy swimming at the most beautiful beach on the island, the famous Gidaki Bay.

Our day begins with a transfer by coach to the port of Agia Efimia, where we board the cruise boat for the 1h and 15 minute sail up to Ithaka channel where dolphins are quite often spotted. Our first stop of the day, the stunning Gidaki Beach. Approximate stay of 30 minutes for swimming.

A further 15 minutes sail, following the east rugged coastline of Ithaka, will take us past the islet of Lazaretto to Vathi, the capital of the island. Approximate arrival time here is 12:00. We will have one hour free time for exploring the town, its museums, churches and shops.

Back on board, the cruise continues around the island and 35 minutes later we arrive to the harbor of Kioni. Here we will stay for one and a half hours, time to enjoy lunch at one of the many harbourside tavernas serving local specialities.

After lunch, weather permitting, we will have a second half hour swimming stop to amoudi beach and then we sail back to Agia Efimia, where we will dock at approximately 17:30 to 18.00.

Cancellation policy:

For cancellation up to 2 days prior to arrival no cancellation fees

For cancellations 1 day prior to arrival 100% cancellation fees

1. For bookings 2 days before departure please contact us in order to check availability!
2. Please arrive on time to the given pick-up point. Unfortunately, there is no option to wait for latecomers. In case of delay, missed pick-up, missed departure time, no refunds.
3. Please provide full name, telephone number (country code included), e-mail and accommodation details (hotel name & address) upon booking.
4. The travel agency reserves the right to alter or cancel any tour due to adverse weather conditions or insufficient passengers number or force majeure 12 hours prior to departure time with a notification to the traveler.
