This excursion starts by taking you to a journey in time and the island’s history – from Prehistoric Thera to the myth of Lost Atlantis, going on with the natural beauties of Santorini and its much-praised wine.

Itinerary:

You are guided the prehistoric town that inspired the Lost Atlantis myth is unveiled before your eyes! This town was buried under the volcanic ash after the huge volcano eruption of 1612 BC that destroy the Minoan civilization. Your licensed guide introduces you to Akrotiri, and walking with you between the paths and the well maintained buildings, that ancient Greeks live before, so many centuries.

A beach like no other, the Red Beach: a scenery reminding Mars on earth, right by the sea. We are exploring it together!

Also, you will visit the Prehistoric Museum of Santorini through its most special findings. The selection brings into life Akrotiri of the 18th and 17th century BC, one of the most important centers of prehistoric Aegean Sea, unfold in front of you.

Enjoy your journey to the world of Santorinian wine with one more tasting of seductive local wine varieties. The wine varieties guide you to the unique micro-climate of Santorini and its mark on the island’s most famous product.
